Heather started riding at the age of 6 at a local horse farm down the road from her parents house. This sparked her lifelong passion for horses. She grew up riding hunters/jumpers and purchased her first 'official' horse in 2011. Heather believes in a very positive and kind style of training. She firmly encourages setting every horse up for success and finds consistency is key.

 

A true testament to Heather's dedication is her own horse Monty and everything they have accomplished together. Hunters, equitation & eventing championships, dressage, trail riding, cow sorting, and have shown all the way to the 1.20 meter jumpers. She bought him as a nervous, inexperienced horse and has guided him into the confident, happy horse he is today.
